Obituary

WALTERS, Lawrence L., age 88, of Flat Rock, November 20, 2021. Beloved husband of Virginia Walters. Loving father of Jeffrey Walters, Kevin Walters and Lori (Barry) Compau. Dearest grandfather of Cody Walters, Valerie Compau and Braden Compau. He is preceded in death by his parents Amos Ray and Anna (Burns) Walters and his siblings Albert (Eunice Weatherholtz), Amos (Ruth Hartley), Gene (Katheryn Kesner), Anna Catherine Riggleman, Dorothy Barr, Helen Walters, Mary Susan Eye, Paul (Mary Leatherman) and Betty Mendolia. Lawrence was a proud Navy Veteran, served 4 years aboard the battleship USS New Jersey. He loved playing poker and watching western movies. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
